Wang Baozhu(Vice-president of CPA) is elected as international directors
April,10th,2011,8 people of CPA delegation with leader Ruan Hezhang,vice-leader Wang Baozhu and Ma Shouwang visted American and attended international annual conference of PDA.
On April,11th,CPA delegation visited The Hanson Group located in Atlanta,president Lee Hanson and technical director Sam Wang gave them a warm reception(see picture 1),and they introduced the lasetest polyurea technique and raw material including anti chemicals polyurea Warrior 240,high performance polyurea BC175,high performance aliphatic polyurea,high density antiflaming foam,self-callus plyurea and UV additives Polystab 100 ect,CPA team visited Hanson’s lab and emulated polyurea spray technique.
PDA leaders and CPA holded special conference,they confrimed achievement since alliance founded,and dicussed future cooperation method and content,PDA are expecting to attend China Roofing and Waterproof Expo’2011 and promote sino-American business cooperation.
On April 15th ,PDA holded board of directors,Mr Wang Baozhu from Qingdao Jialian was elected to be PDA international director,tenure is from 2011 to 2013,the other two international directors are Mario Lefebvre from Canda and Karl Wuehrer from German,president of PDA Kyle Flanagan personally awarded the Certificate of International Director.
PDA 2011 Annual Conference Successfully Open
On April 13th , PDA 2011 Annual Conference was holded in New Orleans, LA,about 100 polyurea experts from around of the world attended this conference.CPA sent delegation to this conference.
At 8 of April 13th morning,the conference began at time,PDA president gave CPA delegation a warm welcome,he gave every attendee a souvenir as a gift and took a group photo(as photo 1).During welcome party,alliance president Lee Hanson,new president Kyle Flanagan,next president Dustin Le,last president Ray Scott,executive director Lou Frank and other PDA leaders all showed great welcome and appreciation(see picture 2).
The theme is”Technology Sustains Solutions”.12 pieces of reports sepreately covered new progress from government subsidise,polyurea materials choosing,new type raw materials,personal safeguard and polyurea lastest application cases.
At 4:30pm of April 14th ,Mr Wang Baozhu from Qingdao Jialian made a speech on Progress and Application of Spray Polyurea Elastomers(see picture 3) ,which leave attendees a deep expression especially application in Beijing-Shanghai High speed Railway.
On 15th ,conference closed,after that,PDA holded board of directors,confirmed again PDA mission and discuss the develop plans.

The polyurea of Qingdao Jialian will be used in Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Railway Waterproofing Engineering

Polyurea Development Association Europe announced second annual conference
Following the success of its first annual conference, the PDA Europe announced the second conference, with the name “Taking Polyurea to the Next Level”. The event took place from Tuesday 18 to Thursday 20 October 2008 at the Austria Trend Parkhotel Schonbrunn in Vienna, Austria. PDA Europe welcomed more than 150 delegates worldwide.
The conference agenda, which included presentations, case studies, educational courses and live demonstrations, highlighted the benefits of specifying polyurea systems for a range of applications. The three-day conference also gave attendees the opportunity to network with leading international industry representatives and help shape the future of the polyurea industry in Europe. Conference highlights included a live polyurea spray demonstration at the Vienna Zoo, where delegates can experience the polyurea spray work at the entrance to the Highland cows’ barn.
Educational sessions contained a course covering all aspects of the polyurea technology, as well as the “Surface Preparation Course for Metal and Concrete” given for the first time.
Also this year, a special Specifiers session will be organised where a panel of highly qualified polyurea technologists answered questions around applications, properties and more.
The 6th China International Exhibition for Roofing and Waterproofing Technology successfully held in Shanghai
The 6th China International Exhibition for Roofing and Waterproofing Technology successfully held on 12th-14th, Jun at Shanghai International Exhibition Center.
Meanwhile, China Construction Waterproofing Achievements Exhibition, Architects Seminar, Road & Bridge Waterproof Seminar and others were given. The famous suppliers for waterproofing coming from 20 countries such as America, Germany, France, Japan, Italy, Canada and domestic’s were present，it becomes one of the three biggest roofing and waterproofing exhibition in the world.
It is the first time for Qingdao Jialian New Chemical Materials Co., Ltd to promote new polyurea waterproofing materials, our booth No.is 2006.
The polyurea waterproofing materials became a focus in exhibition. On 13th June, Mr. Baozhu Wang, General Manager of Qingdao Jialian New Chemical Materials Co., Ltd, gave a lecture with title “SPUA Polyurea Waterproofing Materials and Its Application”, Manager Cui Xiaoming from Graco Co. gave a lecture with title “Polyurea Waterproof Coatings and Application in Huge Infrastructure”, General Manager Yu Jianping from Beijing Shinjuker Polymer Materials Co. Ltd gave the reports about “Integration Coatings System of Exposing Materproof, Abrasion-resistant, Decoration”, all the lectures were very expressive and applauded by the polyurea experts.
PDA’s 2008 Mid-Year Meeting
The 2008 Mid-Year Meeting was an educational opportunity for the attendees to seek more knowledge in-between the Annual Conference. This meeting concentrated on how polyurea technology and concrete can work together. Attendees were educated on this topic in order to market their products or services to the concrete industry.
The meeting opened with two great project profiles. David Preston, Advanced Resin Coatings LLC gave a presentation on “The Applicator Is Not Always at Fault.” And Don Dancey, Innovative Painting & Waterproofing, presented his case study on, “Los Angeles County Men’s Central Jail Exercise/Sports Decks.” Both case studies expressed the use of polyurea and concrete working together! Kelin Bower, Polyvers International, then gave an introduction to the USGBC, LEED Certification and Polyurea’s green side in his presentation, “Green Building and Polyurea.” He explained what green building is, what its goals are and what the future holds.
Following, Jon Gilchrist, PDA Legal Council, presented, “Warranty Specifications.” He discussed what warranties are, how they relate to the polyurea industry and how to protect your company in a contract. Lastly, Scott Bush, LEXINET CORP. & MarketingSalsa, presented, “How to Use Direct Marketing More Effectively.” Scott presented the basics for utilizing direct mail marketing effectively and efficiently, the attendees took home lots of new ideas!
